Once clients place an order of CCTV camera & DVR, we may ask one important question, what ‘s your TV system? What is the difference between PAL and NTSC for CCTV camera?
PAL, NTSC and SECAM, this is the current three Simulation technology color TV formats. The Systems is a kind of technical standard to deal with video and audio signals , only technical standard can realize the television signal receiving. Let me make a sampel: Like home power socket and plug, China's plug can’t match in the UK specifications of the powe socket. 
Color TV image display is consisted by the red, green, blue three primary signal, three kinds of color signal different brightness constitute the profusion of color pictures. And how to deal with three primary signal, and realize the broadcasting and receiving, need technical standards, and this creates a color television system. 
At present, 3 kinds of TV system, namely NTSC (also called N system, or US system), PAL (also called PAL system or west Germany system, the British system), SECAM (also called plug kang system or French system). The distinction between system depend on its frame frequency, different decomposition , signal bandwidth and carrier frequency, color space transformation relation etc. PAL (Phase Alternating Line), was instituted in 1965 TV system, mainly used in China, Hong Kong, the Middle East and Europe , with 25 frames per second picture.
NTSC was instituted in 1952 by the national TV set committee for color television broadcast standards, mainly used in United States, Canada, and Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines and other countries, with 30 frames per second picture.
